God's Big If

“IF” is both large and small! It is one of the smallest words in the English language, and one of the biggest in God’s vocabulary! “IF” has only two letters, and isalmost discounted in the dictionary.

Mr. Webster has very little to say about the word “if.” He has three little definitions, and when I looked up those definitions, I didn’t see that they particularly pertained to anything. But even though Mr. Webster has very little to say about the word “if,” God and Jesus have a lot to say about it, because “if” isused 1,522 times in the word of God.

In many instances where the word “if” is used, it pertains to a condition which we must fulfill if we want to receive the blessings of God.
